About Hearing Price Check

Hearing Price Check is an independent price reference. It records the pair prices that Costco, Sam's Club, ZipHearing and hearing aid makers print on their own pages, with the date each was read, and pairs them with the FDA's OTC rule and Medicare.gov's coverage statements. It sells nothing, routes no calls and collects no health information.

How the site works

Prices are read from each seller's own public page and stored with the page link and the date; rules come from the FDA, the eCFR, Medicare.gov, the IRS and ASHA. The site has no phone line, no lead form and no health questionnaire, and it does not recommend a device for anyone's hearing. Every source, formula and exclusion is on the methodology page.

Corrections

If a figure is wrong or a source has changed, email hello@hearingpricecheck.com with the page and a link. Corrections go into the data file and the check date updates with the next build.
